Community Space
At Reading Bike Hub, we’re building a community around cycling, one that’s inclusive, practical and welcoming to everyone, no matter their experience or background. We offer a range of services designed to make cycling in Reading more accessible, affordable and enjoyable.
Our Opening Times:

- Friday 15:00 – 20:00
- Saturday 11:00 – 16:00

Our Objectives:
- Encourage cycling for short everyday journeys
- Provide resources and education that reduce cycling’s start up and ongoing costs
- Support people through different life stages with flexible bike and accessory options
- Make cycling feel achievable, rewarding and fun for everyone
Support Us!
We are fully powered by a team of volunteers from the cycle community in Reading. Any help that we can get goes a long way. If you have some spare change, please support our crowd funder. This will go towards purchasing tools, advertising the space and providing as many free workshops as we can.
If you don’t have the funds to support us right now but do want to get involved we’d love to hear from you. We also need rags for the bike repairs, donated bikes and your time and passion so please do reach out 🙂 .
What We Do
We’re here to help people ride safely and confidently. We are currently providing while-you-wait bike repairs, refurbished bike sales, a kids’ bike library, corporate bike repair services, collaborative spaces – with more to come!
We are currently working on setting up a bike hire scheme and will be hosting the space for Reading Library of Things and a Repair Cafe in November 2025. Be sure to follow our socials for the most up to date news!

Corporate Bike Repairs
Support your team’s wellbeing and encourage sustainable travel with our convenient corporate bike repair services.
Workshops
Our workshops are all about giving you the confidence and skills to look after your own bike.
On Wednesday evenings we’ll run dedicated workshops teaching core skills to keep your bike on the road.
Bike Parts & Refurbished Bike Sales
We stock a small but essential range of bike parts to help keep you riding safely and comfortably. We also have refurbished bikes for sale!
Bike Hire
Looking to for a short-term bike rental? We got you covered. Just for the day to scoot around on, or for a day, bring it back the next day, or a whole week.
Kids' Bike Library
We offer children a chance to have bikes that grow with them as they grow. Bikes from the kids’ bike library can be borrowed for free and returned when the kid(s) outgrow them. We ask for a £40 donation, or what you can afford.
